The African Pompano averages up to 8 lbs. Powerful and a fast striker, fights deep and heads for obstructions in the bottom. They can be found from January to May. An exquisite looking fish with trailing fins. In this area, you can find 3 different types of African Pompanos. |

Big jacks are extremely hard hitters that can give you a fight from 30 – 40 minutes if not more. They run from 1 – 20 lbs. Jacks can be found all year round but especially during the warm, summer months. |

We frequently fish Sea Trouts from November – May. They run from 1-6 lbs. and are no trouble to hook for the novice but still great fun for the expert. For seatrout, you can use the fly rod or spinning gear. |

Usually found over sandy mud or grassy bottoms, these fishes average 1-6 lbs. in our lagoons. They also give an excellent fight, especially if they’re of a good size. They can be found all year round. |

Running up to 16 lbs., these slick fighters, once hooked, are jumpers too! They’re wonderful to catch. Like the snapper, jacks, snook and tarpon, barracudas are found all year round. |

Just as her name describes her, she is a dainty and she’s very pleasant to set eyes on. But, she can also give a fight. Usually ranging up to 8 lbs, she’s a trim beauty. |
